Punch Walk Pro Privacy Policy

Punch Walk Pro ("the app", "we") is used by construction and property management teams to record property walk-throughs and punch list items. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and how to have it deleted.
Information the app collects
- Login email address and password. Used only to sign in. Logins are issued to teams by their company; the app does not let people create their own accounts. The password is checked by our hosting provider and is not stored on the phone.
- Initials. Each person enters their initials on their phone. They are shown on items marked "Work Completed" so the team can see who completed the work.
- Walk information. Property names, walk names, dates, building and unit numbers, issue locations, trades and descriptions, completion status, and which trade reports have been sent.
- Photos. Photos taken in the app to document issues. The app re-saves each photo before uploading it, which removes the camera's location data from the file.
- Settings. A team's property list, trade and location lists, and field labels.
The app does not collect your location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage analytics, and it contains no advertising or tracking.
How the information is used
Only to run the app: signing in, and keeping each team's walks, photos and settings in sync across the phones that use the same team login. We do not sell or rent any information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored and who can see it
- Information is stored on each phone and in our database and file storage hosted by Supabase, our service provider, which processes it only on our behalf.
- Everything is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
- Each team login can only access its own team's walks and photos. The database enforces this.
- PDF reports are created on the phone. They leave the phone only when you choose to share them yourself, for example by email or text message.
How long it is kept
Walks, photos and settings are kept until the team deletes them in the app or asks us to delete them.
Deleting your data
To have your data deleted, email punchwalkpro.support@icloud.com from the address your company uses with Punch Walk Pro, or include your company name, and tell us which login the request is for.
Within 30 days of your request we will:
- delete the login, and
- delete all walks, photos and settings stored under that login from our Supabase database and file storage.
Any backup copies kept by our hosting provider are removed automatically within 30 days. After that, nothing is kept on our servers. Walks already saved on a phone stay on that phone until the app is removed from it; uninstalling the app deletes them.
You can also delete individual walks, units, issues and photos at any time in the app; those deletions are removed from our servers and from the team's other phones when they sync.
PDF reports that you have already shared with other people are outside our control and are not affected.
Children
Punch Walk Pro is a work tool for construction and property professionals and is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
